As a student at Stayner Collegiate Institute (SCI) you are about to embark on an exciting and rewarding year. It is our intention to help you plan for a successful school year. SCI offers a diverse program that will allow you to learn both in and out of the classroom. Success at the secondary level is different for all students, and with that in mind, you are encouraged to set goals for yourself for this school year and to strive to meet them. By setting and reaching your own goals you will meet success.
The information below outlines some key points about our school, however we expect all students to be familiar with the more detailed information found in the Student Handbook posted online at http://sta.scdsb.on.ca. After reading this information please do not hesitate to ask questions. Over the school year, if you have any difficulties or concerns, in addition to your subject teachers, there are other staff members who will be willing to provide you with assistance. Our Principal and Vice Principal have their offices in the main office area. Our Guidance (room 102) and Student Success (room 103) teachers are available to answer questions and provide support. Special Education can be contacted in the Resource Room (room 203).
